ATLANTA — Luxury in the South thrives at the crossroads of bold individuality, cultural dominance, and uncompromising craftsmanship. For Coach’s 85th anniversary Spring 2027 runway presentation, Creative Director Stuart Vevers delivered an electrifying showcase of statement leathercraft that speaks directly to Atlanta’s vibrant creative elite.
From Buckhead private salons to Midtown recording studios, Atlanta’s fashion dialogue has long celebrated expressive outerwear and iconic accessories. Vevers channeled this energy with oversized distressed baseball leather varsity jackets, reconstructed secondhand leather garments, and collaged archive pouches formed into the celebratory new Tabby silhouette.
Cultural Resonance: Voguing & The Loft Heritage
The show’s finale delivered a high-octane cultural convergence: Bronx youth string orchestra UpBeat NYC performed live as eight energetic ballroom dancers directed by choreographer Arturo Lyons took over the runway. This celebration of community and street culture resonates deeply with Atlanta’s position as a global trendsetter.
